Hattiesburg unveils their 60th mural

The Hub City unveiled their 60th mural on Thursday.

This one celebrates Black History Month and the Freedom Summer Movement.

The piece is titled “Freedom Summer: Honoring History and Hope in Palmers Crossing.”

Chris and Taryn Holzinger are the artists behind this one.

Shown on the mural are the Freedom Fighters, Vernon Dahmer, and Vernon’s daughter Bettie.
