Hattiesburg Regional Preview: Mississippi State

A big part of the hype surrounding the Hattiesburg Regional has everything to do with a potential second day matchup between USM and Mississippi State.
But first, the Bulldogs have to take down South Alabama in their first game on Friday night. Even still Diamond Dawgs are already talking about the in-state ties between themselves and a familiar foe.
Southern Miss beat MSU 7-5 when the two teams met at Trustmark Park in Pearl on March 21st.
