Harrison County Triad award ceremony

The Harrison County Triad Organization works to keep senior citizens safe and healthy in our community.
A luncheon award ceremony hosted by Triad started off with song today in Gulfport. Police officers, sheriff’s deputies, and residents all over Harrison County came for the ceremony, honoring those who make a difference in Harrison County.
Harrison County Triad President Magdelena Holland tells News 25 this is one of the biggest events of the year for the organization that keeps busy throughout the year helping seniors. “We do active shooter. Our newest is the opioid epidemic and how to dispose properly of medications. We also do presentations on scams. Seniors are always being scammed. So, we work together with law enforcement to better seniors and keep them safe and healthy in Harrison County.”
