Harrison County Supervisors to negotiate with Acadian
The Harrison County Board of Supervisors decided to enter into negotiations with Acadian Ambulance Services for emergency services.
The supervisors heard a recommendation from the Ambulance Oversight Committee to opt for Acadian Ambulance Service, which currently serves Jackson County.
The agreement, if reached during negotiations, would cover for Harrison County, Long Beach, and Pass Christian.
The supervisors also approved a memorandum of understanding with AMR for services through April 30th, 2024.
Gulfport and Biloxi began using Pafford EMS Ambulance Service this year.
D’Iberville uses AMR, but also has used Acadian when necessary.
