Harrison County Skate Park Plans at Standstill

The former skate park on Debuys Road in Harrison County continues to sit empty, straining the pockets of taxpayers.
Even after hearing four different proposals for the building late last year, no set plans are in sight. News 25 reached out to Harrison County District 5 Supervisor Connie Rockco who says the city has spent nearly all they can on the building and could now look to put it out for bid and hand it over to the highest bidder.
In a statement, Rockco tells News 25: “It is our hope to come to a solution about the former skate park some time in February. This solution will be fair and equitable to all, especially the tax payers.”
