Harrison County Sheriff’s Office warning of scam impersonating deputies

HARRISON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- Another scam is making the rounds in Harrison County, this time in the form of calls with scammers impersonating Harrison County sheriff’s deputies.

These scammers are apparently requesting money from people for various reasons, claiming to act on behalf of the sheriff’s office.

As always, the sheriff’s office will never request money over the phone or through any electronic platforms.

If you receive one of these scam calls, contact the sheriff’s office to report it.
