Harrison County shares improvement projects for two roads

Gulfport, Miss. (WXXV)- The Harrison County Board of Supervisors is sharing improvements have been completed on White Plains Road.

Drivers are able to drive in the area again, officials saying the upgrades will reduce the need for closures after heavy rains.

This also help keep access open to residents and emergency vehicles.

Another road in Harrison County also reopens as improvements are completed.

North Carr Bridge Road has been elevated and the drainage has been boosted.

Harrison County officials saying these upgrades mean the road needs to be closed less on rainy days, giving better access for everyone.
