Harrison County School District Summer Meals Program set to Begin
While summer has not officially begun yet, summer break has started for many schools across the state, including those in the Harrison County School District.
The break from school is widely celebrated by students. But for some, the end of the semester is less joyful, as they rely on school meals to provide them the nutrition they need.
Luckily, those meals are still available at Harrison County School District schools through their Summer Meals Program. The program provides free breakfast and lunch for children 18 and under from now to July 26th.
HCSD Director of Child Nutrition Programs Bradley C. Barlow tells us more about this fantastic program.
