Harrison County School District security staff takes part in training

D’IBERVILLE, Miss. (WXXV)- The Harrison County School District’s Safety and Security staff participated in training at the D’Iberville High School.

The training is called ‘Active Attack Integrated Response,’ sponsored by the state Office of Homeland Security.

This training brought D’Iberville Police, D’Iberville and Harrison County firefighters, as well as EMS agencies to strengthen coordinated responses during an active shooter event.

School district staff says by training together, first responders and school safety personnel enhance their ability to stop threats, provide care, and ensure patients are transported to medical facilities as quickly as possible.
