Harrison County man charged with sexual battery

According to officials, a 56-year-old man is behind bars in Harrison County on three felony counts of sexual battery charges after a 12-year-old victim told her mother.
According to Sheriff Troy Peterson, Ocean Springs resident Ernesto Martinez was arrested after an investigation into the victim’s testimony to her mother that Martinez sexually assaulted her between April 2014 and December 2016 in Harrison County.
Martinez is under a $250,000 bond at the Harrison County Adult Detention Center.
