HARRISON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)-The Harrison County Development Commission has received Cooperative Energy’s 2025 Spark Award.

Specifically, the commission’s work in bringing Mississippi’s first Buc-ee’s Travel Center to life is recognized as a commercial win and a transformative development success for the Coast.

The Spark Award Committee recognized not only the scale of the Buc-ee’s investment, but the project’s long-term impact on job creation, tax revenue, and community pride.
