Harrison County authorities investigating body found on Popp’s Ferry Causeway

A body was found on the Popp’s Ferry Causeway this morning.

According to authorities, Biloxi police and the Biloxi Fire Department were dispatched to the scene at about 6:30 a.m. when they found the body.

The identity is being withheld until next of kin can be properly notified.

Police say an investigation is underway and more details will be provided when it becomes available.
