Harrison Central rolls Hancock, 31-14, for first win of the season
GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV) — Harrison Central jumped out to a 17-0 lead in the first half and never looked back, taking down Hancock 31-14 for the Red Rebels first win of the season.
The Red Rebels found success on the ground and through the air and were poised to score again heading out of the locker room, before Hancock’s defense forced a fumble. The Hawks added touchdowns in both the third and fourth quarters, but Harrison Central responded with 14 points of their own late in the game.
Up next, Harrison Central heads to Heidelberg to take on the Oilers, and Hancock will welcome Poplarville to Brett Favre Field. Both games kick off at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
