Harrah’s Gulf Coast Named Among Best Places to Work by Mississippi Business Journal

Mississippi Business Journal announced what Harrah’s Gulf Coast team members already knew, that their casino is one of the best companies to work for in the state of Mississippi. The Mega-Large category company, comprised of team members from along the Coast, many of whom have been with the company for more than twenty years, was honored with the award for the third consecutive year this week.

Mississippi Business Journal’s 2014 Best Places to Work in Mississippi published their results after issuing a poll among local residents to determine the best workplaces in the region. This year marks the fourth time Harrah’s Gulf Coast, formerly the Grand Biloxi Casino, Hotel and Spa, has been given the honor. The newly re-branded Caesars Entertainment resort earned their rank, in part, due to their comprehensive and robust health care plans, generous benefits packages, free legal service, uniforms, and meals. Further adding to their happiness in the work place, is the opportunity to receive quarterly bonuses.

“Our resort is fortunate to have the hardest working and most upbeat team members in the region,” said Jonathan Jones, senior vice president and general manager of Harrah’s Gulf Coast. “Our company inspires grownups to play and we cannot encourage that sentiment or successfully bring that experience to our guests, if it’s not first felt and championed by our team members.
