Harlem Globetrotters 2017 World Tour

The Harlem Globetrotters are no strangers to South Mississippi. Tonight, they took the court at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum as a part of their 2017 world tour.
The Globetrotters have been putting on a show on the hardwood since 1926 and no matter how many times you see them you’ll always see something new. Whether it’s their slick moves, a little bit of fun, or those classic red, white, and blue uniforms. The Globetrotters are an iconic part of basketball history.
If you’ve ever wondered how much you have to practice to become a Globetrotter, here’s your answer. Harlem Globetrotter Rocket said, “Every day, every day, all day. In the room, you know whenever you get time it’s practice, spinning the ball all day, sliding, dunking. Everything you can do whenever you can. It’s practice.”
You might recognize the names of a few of the most famous Globetrotters of all time: Meadowlark Lemon, Curly Neal, and Wilt Chamberlain.
