HAPPENING NOW: Crews battling brush fire in Harrison County

Harrison County and Mississippi Forestry Commission fire crews are battling a brush fire in Northern Harrison County.

A red flag burn warning remains in effect for South Mississippi this afternoon.

According to Mississippi Forestry Commission, 70 acres have been burnt as of 3:15 p.m. U.S Fire Service, Mississippi Forestry Commission, and local fire departments all responded to the scene.

The Forestry Commission also says they have no cause at this time and no structures are in immediate danger.
