Hanshaw Road in Ocean Springs to reopen Friday

Good news for Ocean Springs drivers! Hanshaw Road is set to reopen on Friday from Highway 90 to Old Spanish Trail.

You may recall the road has been closed since the first of the month so Jackson County Utility workers could make sewer main repairs.

That’s caused many drivers to make detours, including parents of Ocean Springs Middle School students while picking up and dropping off their kids.

The closure was expected to last for about a month, but work was completed ahead of schedule.
