Hancock Whitney hosts pancake breakfast to benefit American Heart Association

The people in downtown Gulfport had a chance to grab delicious breakfast for a good cause.

Hancock Whitney Bank hosted a pancake breakfast fundraiser to benefit the American Heart Association. Next week, the American Heart Association will host a heart walk and all the money raised at the pancake breakfast will go towards the cause.

The heart walk is a time for the community to come together to celebrate survivors, learn about how to improve our own heart health, and raise funds that ultimately save lives. Hancock Whitney Market President Brent Fairly said, “The fundraiser is to raise money for the community, for the American Heart Association. We come together with the community and we will have a heart walk on the 24th and all the companies and people will get together and walk down Highway 90 and participate in the heart walk and a lot of festivities.”

Check in time for the heart walk will begin at 8 a.m. and the walk will begin at 9 a.m. at Jones Park in Gulfport.
