Hancock High Signing Day: Nine Hawks sign National Letters of Intent
Nine student-athletes from Hancock High School are taking their talents to the next level.
In alphabetical order:
- Katelyn Altese signing to play golf with Troy
- Klair Cuevas with PRCC softball
- Maddy Cuevas with PRCC soccer
- Karli Denius with East Central soccer
- Brandon King with East Mississippi baseball
- Blaine Knight with PRCC baseball
- Maddy Ladner with William Carey basketball
- Ryan Ladner with EMCC baseball
- Cheyenne Tyson with Southwest softball
Maddy Ladner said, “It means so much to me. I’ve played basketball since I was five, so today my dream came true for the next four years.”
Katelyn Altese said, “It’s just a dream come true. All the work has paid off. I mean countless hours, sacrifices. That’s what it takes to become the best, so you’ve got to do what you’ve got to do.”
Altese was part of Hancock’s state championship team last season, finishing second in the individual sector.
