Hancock High School switching to distance learning December 16th through the 22nd

Due to the rising number of positive COVID-19 cases at Hancock High School, students will move to distance learning starting Wednesday, December 16th through Tuesday, December 22nd.

Although the high school will be open only to staff members, student instruction will continue through distance learning.

Any student that was scheduled for state testing in December will be tested in January. K-8th grade students will continue traditional instruction at school for the remainder of the semester.

During this time of school closure, Hancock County School District will offer Grab-n-Go meals to high school students. Meals may be picked up at Hancock High School between 10:00am-10:30am. Meals will be distributed by drive thru Grab-n-Go, as vehicles proceed through a line at the back of the high school cafeteria.
