Hancock High School standout Jeffrey Hopgood signs to further his football career at Pearl River Community College

On Friday, Hancock high school standout Jeffrey Hopgood put pen to paper to make things official with the Pearl River Community College football program. 

Hopgood was a force to be reckoned with on both sides of the ball on Friday nights excelling as both a linebacker and a running back.

The hawk hero was a 2023 Bernard Blackwell All-Star this past season, the National Football Foundation Hall of Fame award winner for Hancock high school, and three time member of the region 4-6A Defensive MVP team.
