Hancock County School District to learn virtually on Wednesdays

Beginning September 2nd, the Hancock County School District will implement a new district wide schedule.

This schedule will include every Wednesday each month in which all students will be distance learners. In preparation for this new schedule, teachers will begin training students on how to learn from home and how to communicate with their teachers in times of distance learning.

Please know that during times of distance learning, highly trained teachers will continue to provide instruction for students.

This change in schedule is to allow everyone to prepare for distance learning should schools be faced with all students distance learning in the future.
