Hancock County Library hosting three-day book sale

Books were flying off the shelves at the library in Bay St. Louis.

It was a big first day turnout for the Hancock County Library System’s Books and More sale. The three-day event is sponsored by the Library Foundation of Hancock County.

All funds raised will be going towards supporting the many family and educational programs throughout the Hancock County Library System’s five branches.

Guests were browsing through a plethora of books of all genres.

The book sale is another opportunity to add to your collection. Executive Director John Brdecka said, “You can’t find any one of these books online cheaper because we round down. Tomorrow will be 50 percent off of that price. Sunday, it’s going to be a bargain. It’s going to be a dollar for a yardstick of books.”

The book sale will continue Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Hancock County Library in Bay St. Louis.
