Habitual Offender Sentenced To 5 Years

A Long Beach man will spend five years behind bars without the possibility of early release for robbing a business in October of 2015.
Fifty-three year-old Patrick Todd Young pleads guilty today to robbing the Oil Plus on Pineville Road in Long Beach.
Based on Young’s prior felony convictions he was prosecuted as a habitual offender meaning he will serve his sentence day to day.
Young has four prior convictions including grand larceny, burglary, plus two convictions for possession of a controlled substance.
