Gulfport woman charged with armed robbery after returning to the scene

GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- A woman has been arrested in relation to an armed robbery in Gulfport.

Thirty-four-year-old Jessinya Ezell of Gulfport is now charged with one count of armed robbery.

On May 11, 2025, officers with Gulfport Police Department responded to Dedeaux Road in reference to the incident.

During the investigation, it was discovered that Ezell displayed a gun and demanded money from the business. She then got into a physical altercation with an employee before leaving the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.

While officers were still on scene, Ezell returned to the business to ask about a cellphone she dropped during the robbery. She was then identified as the suspect and taken into custody.

She was transported to Harrison County Adult Detention Center where she is being held on a $100,000 bond.
