Gulfport wins 51-0 against Laurel in their new stadium

GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV) — The Gulfport Admirals looked to move to 2-0 to start their season against the Laurel Tornadoes.

Jackson Wolverton drops back and launches a deep bomb to his teammate Syniker Taylor who beats his defender and scores the first touchdown in the new Admiral Stadium.

Jackson Wolverton would then later drop a quick pass to Travor Frost and he’s too big to stop and rumbles his way for a Gulfport touchdown putting the defending 7-A State Champs up 13-0 after a missed extra point.

The game would have to be delayed because of the lightning in the area but Gulfport would have no problem winning this one when things resumed winning by a score 51-0 in their new stadium.

Gulfport will be on the road against Petal in Week 4 while Laurel will look to bounce back at home against West Harrison Friday September 18th!
