Gulfport students’ project makes top ten
A group of Gulfport High School students are gaining national attention for a tool they invented to help homeless students.
The ‘vending a hand’ project has been selected as one of the ten national finalists for the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow contest and has won Gulfport High School $50,000.
Samsung receives entries from schools all over the country and they are one of ten schools moving on to the final round. Samsung will bring two participating students and one adult chaperone to the seventh annual live pitch event in New York City on March 14th.
