Gulfport standout Amir Abdul-Rauf announces his college commitment

It may not be signing day but with basketball season here on the coast wrapping up this week, some players are making the decision on where they will continue their academic and athletic careers.

Gulfport senior Amir Abdul-Rauf took to X to announce that he will be taking his talents on the basketball court to Holmes Community College to start his college career.

Abdul-Rauf reached the 1,000 point career milestone earlier this year and is able to say that he left his mark on high school basketball here on the coast. A big congratulations to the Gulfport star!
