Gulfport Sportsplex turn nearing completion

Six new turf fields are a major part of the first-class expansion of Gulfport’s growing sportsplex.
Each field takes around two weeks of installation. The first field is scheduled to be complete today.
Officials say these turf fields will become a major contributor to bringing in larger tournaments and more sports tourism to Gulfport resulting in millions of dollars in economic impact every year to the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
