Gulfport shooting victim identified

Harrison County Coroner Gary Hargrove says 48-year-old Robert Walters of Gulfport died as a result of a gunshot wound to the chest.
Gulfport police received a disturbance call around 5:22 Tuesday evening in the Skye Court neighborhood. When they arrived they found Walters suffering from a single gunshot wound. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
Around 11 o clock last night, Gulfport police arrested Thirty-four year-old Stephen Redmond and charged him with murder. He is being held at the Harrison County Adult Detention Center on a one million dollar bond.
