Cities set curfews for ahead of Zeta landfall
Cities in South Mississippi are declaring curfews as an added safety precaution ahead of Hurricane Zeta’s landfall tonight.
- “In anticipation of Hurricane Zeta’s landfall, the City of Gulfport has issued a curfew. Residents are asked to be off the roadways by 5 p.m. at the latest. Please be safe.”
- Long Beach announced a curfew effective 5 p.m. Wednesday to 6 a.m. Thursday.
- D’Iberville issued a curfew to begin at 6 p.m. Wednesday until 6 a.m. Thursday. The Marina and Fountain pier are closed and will remain closed until further notice.
