Gulfport School District students take part in Magnolia Boys State

GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- The Gulfport School District is sharing three of their students had the chance to attend Magnolia Boys State recently.

Boys State is a leadership program for rising high school seniors in the state, learning about government, leadership, and service.

Carter, William, and Dante all took part in the week-long program, those in attendance hear from elected and non-elected leaders.

They also compete in athletic and academic competitions as they prepare for college and their future careers.
