Gulfport Powerlifting receives state championship rings

GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV) — A pair of state championship teams were celebrated at Gulfport High School on Monday afternoon.

Members of the 2025 State Champion Powerlifting Teams finally received some well-deserved bling — their championship rings!

Current student-athletes as well as recent graduates all came together one more time to celebrate their 2025 titles. The girls team won for the first time ever, while the boys won their fourth-straight title and eighth in the last nine years. Both teams were led by head coach Logan Fallo and assistant coach Allison Cross.
