Gulfport Police police officer struck by vehicle while on motorcycle

A Gulfport Police officer is receiving treatment after being struck by a car at the intersection of Highway 49 and Dedeaux Road.

According to Jason Ducre of Gulfport PD, the officer was on a motorcycle when the accident happened. The officer has been taken to Memorial Hospital where they are receiving treatment for their injuries.
