Gulfport Police pick up alligator from school

GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- You never know what the job might bring, Gulfport Police were called to a local school due to an alligator on Wednesday.

The alligator was brought away from the school thanks to these officers.

The Gulfport Police said no alligators are allowed enrollment without a backpack and permission slip.

The police also shared a photo from a few weeks ago, where Sgt. Carpenter rescued a baby alligator that was playing in traffic.
