Gulfport Police investigating Sunday night shooting

Gulfport Police are investigating an shooting on Sunday night in the 1400 block of Genevieve Drive.

Officers responded about 10:58 p.m. to a report of shots fired. When they arrived, they found shell casings in the street and several bullets had hit a home.

Officers found a victim who was hit and was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
