Gulfport Police investigating shooting on Henderson Avenue

GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- The Gulfport Police Department is investigating a shooting in the 1900 block of Henderson Avenue.

It happened Thursday evening.

Police say one male victim was taken to an out-of-state hospital. At this time, police do not have a suspect in custody.

GPD is asking the public to avoid the area and use an alternate route as the investigation continues.
