Gulfport Police investigating early morning homicide

Gulfport Police are investigating an early morning homicide with a 16-year-old victim.

Officers were called to the 16000 block of Kenwood Drive about 2:19 a.m. in reference to a shooting.

When they arrived, they found a male dead from apparent gunshot wounds. Harrison County Coroner Brian Switzer identified the teen at Zaelyn Braxton.
