Gulfport Police investigating domestic-related shooting

Gulfport Police are investigating a shooting overnight on Tropical Cove.

The area is off Pass Road about a mile east of cowan Road.

She shooting happened about 1 a.m.

Gulfport Police spokesman Jason Ducre said one person was shot in the domestic-related incident. The victim was taken to a hospital by AMR and is in stable condition.

Police are in the process of talking to both parties involved before determining whether charges will be filed.
