Gulfport Police Department swears in new deputy police chief

GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)-The Gulfport Police Department has named a new deputy police chief.

Clayton Fulks was just named to the role, following the retirement of outgoing Deputy Chief Heather Dailey.

Fulks has served in a variety of roles with the department, most recently serving in the support bureau.

Fulks will now assist Police Chief Adam Cooper in the day-to-day administration of the department.
