Two dead in shooting near Loposser Avenue and Layton Drive

Two men are dead following a shooting in Gulfport earlier this evening.

According to Sgt. Jason Ducre, the shooting happened just before 5:30 p.m. near Loposser Avenue and Layton Drive. A vehicle on the block was covered in red tarp.

The incident is still under investigation.
