Gulfport PD Holds Community Neighborhood Watch Meeting

The meeting will take place Tuesday, January 27th at 6 p.m. at the police department in downtown Gulfport. Block captains, local neighborhood contacts, and anyone interested in starting a neighborhood watch program is encouraged to attend. The Gulfport Police Department is welcoming this opportunity to address any issues residents may have about the safety of their communities.

Mandy Keenan, Community Relations Officer for the Gulfport Police Department, says, “The purpose of this is to see what kinds of concerns the neighborhoods have in Gulfport. Anything we could do to improve our neighborhood watch program or even to jump start your neighborhood watch program to keep crime down in the city.”
