Gulfport PD Arrest 4 People Involved in Kidnapping & Robbery

Gulfport Police arrested four individuals Wednesday for stolen property and other charges, but the four are also suspected to be in connection with a robbery and kidnapping that occurred less than two weeks ago.

Edward Barnes III, 40, Quincy Jamal Youngblood, 31, Paula Latonya Youngblood, 34, and Kevon Jamall Barnes, 18, were all arrested. January’s robbery and kidnapping allegedly involved three men breaking into a Gulfport home and beating up the 65 year old victim, Randy Wilks, who is a cancer patient. He suffered a broken nose, black eyes, and facial bruising.

Leonard Papania, Gulfport Police Chief, says, “Our personnel found and seized many stolen items from this residence. Among the items recovered was property that was taken on January 16th, during the robbery and kidnapping on Markham Drive. As a result, we have arrested four adults, all of whom were present at the residence at the time of the search warrant.”
