Gulfport PD announces View the Cruise traffic plan

Gulfport PD announced that Highway 49 is scheduled for closure on Sunday, October 1st, from 6 am until 5 pm.

This closure encompasses the section spanning from 17th Street in the southbound direction to Highway 90, and conversely, from Highway 90 in the northbound direction to 17th Street.

Anticipate potential delays and consider utilizing alternative routes. For the convenience of trucks, it is recommended they utilize 30th Avenue.

Furthermore, the downtown area will undergo a closure, reserving access exclusively for cruisers manufactured in 1989 or earlier.

This restriction is effective within the stretch between 29th Avenue and 22nd Avenue.
