Gulfport Mayor joins list of coast leaders supporting LGBT rights

Following in Biloxi and ocean springs mayors footsteps, gulfport mayor billy hewes came out against the new religious freedom bill.

Gulfport mayor, Billy Hewes, is joins the mayors of Ocean Springs and Biloxi, coming out against the new religious freedom bill.

He released a statement today:

“Gulfport is the same today, as it was yesterday. The character of our community is the result of the diversity of our culture, economy, natural resources, and people. We invite everybody to discover the city that is open for business and geared for a good time!”
