Gulfport Mayor Heading to Honolulu for U.S. Conference of Mayors

Thursday the Municipal League Conference wraps up and Gulfport Mayor Billy Hewes is preparing for yet another meeting of mayors.

Hewes will be among the 200 mayors from across our nation attending the United States Conference of Mayors 87th Annual Meeting in Honolulu.

Infrastructure, transportation, jobs and affordable housing are just some of the topics that will be on the table as city leader’s network and work together to find ways to enhance their cities. This year’s meeting runs Friday through Monday.
