Gulfport man wins World Series of Poker bracelet

A Gulfport poker player won his first Gold Bracelet after winning the World Series of Poker Tournament in Las Vegas.

Jeremy Eyer won a $5,000 freezeout 8-max on Tuesday night. Eyer defeated Felipe Ramos heads-up in a three-hour duel to earn the Gold Bracelet and $649,550 in poker winnings from a $5,000 buy-in from a field of 735 players.

He is now second in WSOP earnings for Mississippi players behind Tom Franklin of Gulfport.
