Gulfport man charged with sex crimes

A Gulfport man has been charged with sex crimes against a juvenile.

Harrison County Sheriff’s Office arrested 37-year-old Jeremy Dujuan Walker on one count of statutory rape and one count of sexual battery. He also faces a charge of enticing a child to meet for sexual purposes. His bond is $500,000.

Sheriff Troy Peterson said investigators received a report of statutory rape and identified Walker as the suspect. He was arrested at his home on Thursday.
