Gulfport man charged with felony eluding and possession of stolen firearm
On February 12, 2021 at approximately 10:35 AM, Biloxi Police attempted a traffic stop on a silver Cadillac for a traffic violation in the area of Popps Ferry Road and Pass Road.
The driver of the vehicle failed to stop for the officers and traveled east and then back west on Pass Road. The vehicle crashed into a power pole in the 2400 Block of Pass Road, and the driver fled on foot.
The driver was apprehended a short time later and identified as 30-year-old Quenton Lawrence Ellison of Gulfport, MS. An alleged stolen firearm was recovered during the investigation of the incident.
Ellison was charged with Felony Eluding and Possession of a Stolen Firearm. He was transported to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center and held in lieu of a total $35,000 bond set by Harrison County Justice Court Judge Albert Fountain.
