Gulfport man arrested on two aggravated assault charges

GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)-A Gulfport man is behind bars on two aggravated assault charges after a meet up to sell boots leads to a shooting.

Harrison County Sheriff’s Office investigators say 49-year-old Eric Walker is accused of shooting two people who came to his home to sell a pair of boots Monday.

When the pair arrived at his home on Robinson Road, he got out of a car on his property and shot one victim in the head, and the other victim, who was inside a car.

Both victims were taken to an area hospital. Their conditions are unknown at this time.

Walker is being held at the Harrison County Jail on a one million dollar bond.
